Customizing Axes
In this example, the X axis is scaled in logarithm and the axis range and the positions of tick marks are changed.
In
the figure page, select the graph by clicking the plot area (or pressing the
Tab key) and open the [Graph] -[X Axis] -[Set] menu. (or double-click the
area of X axis or select the X axis and
click button
1. In the [Axis] tab, check "Log 10" for the [Scale Type]. 2. Check "Custom" in the [Scale Range]. and set [Minimum] = "0.0007" and [Maximum] = "0.7".
3. Select "Log:3,30..." for the [Minor Tick Type] in the [Minor Tick Marks] tab.
4. In the [Major Tick Marks] tab, select the "Single" option in the major tick [Select] frame. 5. Click the "Add" button and set [Position] = "0.5".
Next, the tick marks of the Y axis will be changed.
6. Hide the minor ticks by uncheking "In" [Direction] for the [Minor Tick Line] in the [Minor Tick Marks] tab.
7. Select "Custom" in the [Major Tick Select] frame and set the major tick [Interval] = "1".
8. Select "Single" and set major tick [Length] = "1" for the ticks #2,4,6,8 and 10 and click [OK].
