Graphs

The following functions were added or expanded.

Expanded settings for data series  NEW

You can now set the positions of individual data series at any place in a spreadsheet and in any sheet in a spread window. Placing data series in multiple sheets makes it possible to have a graph dataset of 65536 points and 4096 series.

Creating graphs of grid data  NEW

A menu [Graph] - [Create Graph of Grid Data] has been added. With this command you can easily create image graphs of grid data placed in multiple spreadsheets.

Independent secondary axis  NEW

You can plot one or more data series on a secondary (Y) axis with a scale different from the primary axis (for 2D line/scatter/area graphs, bubble graphs and bar graphs).

Intrinsic data labels  NEW

Data labels for individual data points are now provided as an element of a graph object.

Error bars for Z values  NEW

Z error bars are now available for waterfall graphs, 3D bar graphs, 3D line/scatter graphs

Scale legend for image/contour graphs  NEW

KyPlot now supports a scale legend for 2D image/contour graphs and 3D surface/contour/column graphs.

Conversion of image graphs to bitmap images  NEW

Just select a menu to convert image graphs to bitmap images.

Setting graded symbol colors by values  NEW

Individual symbol colors can be changed according to their Y/Z values or error values (for 2D line/scatter, bubble and 3D XYZ line/scatter graphs).

Creating ternary graphs from (X, Y, Z) data  NEW

You can now create ternary graphs for (X, Y, Z) data without calculating proportions.

Support of Y/Z missing cells for "label" X data type  NEW

When X is set as "Label", blank or non-numeric Y/Z data cells can be regarded as missing.

Enhanced graph outputs of analyses  NEW

Graph output options for linear regression analysis, Fourier analysis and spectral analysis.

KyPlot supports the following graph types.

The scale of X or Y axis can be individually set as either linear or logarithmic.

You can attach error bars ("plus-minus error" or "hi-lo" type) to either X or Y values, or both.

Axis breaks can be set to X and Y axes.

You can customize attributes of individual data symbols, axis ticks and axis labels.

Legends, data labels can be created, as well as calibrations for time series data.
